It was photography that initially fuelled Matthew’s desire to become an artist and has remained a favourite pastime.
His main subjects are the city of Bristol and the wildlife found locally and around the city.
“Photography is a great way to sharpen your eye. It really fires my passion for the city I love and its wildlife. Some of my happiest times have been wandering around the streets and parks early in the morning, capturing images which most people overlook everyday”.
Matthew has exhibited his photography in various exhibitions and has been reviewed on the Guardian Camera Club website.
